What are we looking for?

"The Promise of Rain" is our first exhibition. The theme is change, the end of summer, the beginning of fall, moving house, letting go... the promise of rain. 

So what does that mean? That's up to you to interpret.

Get weird and go deep.

Submission Deadline

Sunday, October 15th - ALL MEDIA WELCOME

Format Details

• Please limit 2D work to 4' x 4' max, 3D work to 3' x 3' x 3'

• Please note any special display requests (I.E. hung from ceiling, placed directly on floor).

• If you would like to submit video art, sound art, or larger multi-media installations, please contact us with details, including tech requirements, at hello@theumbrellashopstl.com .

• Artists may submit up to 3 pieces max

• Exhibition is juried - submissions may be declined at curators' discretion.

• No entry fee.

• Sales are 100% to the artist.

• NFS works accepted.

• Event will have general liability insurance.

• Promotions: Send artist statements, images of completed work, for use in press/promotion by Sunday, October 15th to hello@theumbrellashopstl.com
